Following England’s win in 2009 over Australia who will come out on top of the 2010/11 Ashes Series ? Well the series is being played in Australia this time and that is a massive advantage to the home team. England have got a poor record when playing in Australia with the 2006/07 series being convincingly won 5-0 by Australia.
Here are the venues for this Ashes series
1st Vodafone Ashes Test Match – Brisbane – 25 to 29 November
“The Gabba” will host the first test
2nd Vodafone Ashes Test Match – Adelaide – 3 to 7 December
The Adelaide Oval is host for the second Ashes match
3rd Vodafone Ashes Test Match – Perth – 16 to 20 December
4th Vodafone Ashes Test Match – Melbourne – 26 to 30 December
Melbourne has the largest sporting stadium in Australia
5th Vodafone Ashes Test Match – Sydney – 3 to 7 January
The Sydney Cricket Ground plays host to the final match
