England fan going to the Ashes 2010-11 4th and 5th tests. Can I have your help please?

I note that the Ashes tickets are available to members of the ACF (Australian Cricket Family) from 14th July. You and I could join the ACF and purchase tickets but would that mean we would be sat with the Australians and away from the famous England fans?

I can see tickets go on sale to the general public from 20th July, so should I wait until then?

Does anyone know how much tickets are for the Melbourne and Sydney? Is it easy to get tickets?

Anybody’s help would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to sit with the other England fans. There should be a preference box that you tick to specify what team you’re supporting.

I would have thought that sitting as far away as possible from the barmy army would be a positive thing, especially if you wanted to watch the cricket in peace.

Both matches will be sold out very quickly, so any trick to get them ahead of general sale may be worth looking into.
